Former Mayor Mike Bloomberg will never earn the trust of the people who resent him for supporting and encouraging stop-and-frisk in New York City, and he will never gain back the respect he lost this weekend after apologizing for using the legal tactic to save lives.

The NYPD was verbally assaulted by a brash and silly, young actress while ticketing a lady who'd been peddling churros outside the 33rd Transit Division stationhouse in a Brooklyn subway station.
